Manager Staff Learning Projects
Development & Training
I came to the University from the private sector, it was an ethical choice, and my role has grown out of my own belief in Lifelong Learning. The University is a learning organisation which has the development of the potential of all members of staff as a core value. Some of my own responsibilities include running our Job Shadowing Scheme, managing the cross-University networking programme, and the upcoming Staff Attitude Survey.

I have been extremely fortunate in finding my niche here - I love my job. I guess that's not so common. It's a place that encourages creative working and I find that energising.
Some of the great rewards come from working in an art and design environment and with the sort of people who either gravitate towards that specialist area or to Higher Education generally. The greatest buzz of all is seeing the powerful learning that individuals can experience through the programmes we run.
